John Knight McIntosh was the son of Henry and Marion McIntosh, of Edinburgh; and the husband of Annie McIntosh (nee Faulds), of Edinburgh.
St Michael’s Church magazine (May 1945) states that “Mrs J McIntosh’s husband died. Killed in action in Italy. 23 Westfield Road.”
He died at the age of 28 and his name is on the WW2 memorial at St Michael’s Church.
