Today’s society is often money rich but time poor and charities are thus struggling to find people to volunteer. However, how enriching life is when we share our time and talents and build new relationships, learning and laughing from and with each other.
At St Michael’s we are always looking for people to fill the rotas so that the load of running the congregation is shared. There are people to welcome at the door and the housebound to visit; there are readings to be given and events to design and run. And, of course, the church building itself needs to be tended.
If you would like to get involved, please speak to one of the elders or the minister on a Sunday or any other time and offer your help.
