Biographical information

James Forrest Kidd was the son of George Gilbert Kidd and Margaret Forrest Kidd, of 3, Hermand Crescent, Edinburgh.

He was formerly a Lance. Corporal in the 2nd/9th Bn. Royal Scots, before serving with the 20th Squadron of the R.A.F.

He died aged 21.

His name was on the WW1 memorial of North Merchiston Church.
