Thomas Johnston lived at 6 Robertson Avenue and was the son of Thomas and Mary Jane Johnston.
He was married to Charlotte Mary Johnston, of Belhaven, East Lothian.
St Michael’s Church magazine (June 1944) states that “Thomas died in action in Burma.”
He died at the age of 27 and his name is on the WW2 memorial at St Michael’s Church.
