St Michael’s Friendship Club is unique, extending the hand of friendship to everyone, irrespective of faith, race, age or gender. The Club started in the 1980’s and was instigated by Rev. Margaret Forrester, who was the Club’s first President.
The Friendship Club meets fortnightly from September through to April, with a summer break from late April till early September. Meetings begin at 2pm and finish around 4pm. The Friendship Club provides excellent entertainment such as singers, films, speakers, instrumentalists and raffles. People are welcome to “drop in” where a warm welcome awaits them. A collection of £1.00 per meeting is taken to help cover costs.
